This image isn’t for sale.

Over the next few days I‘m going to take a little dive into a theme that has come up many times through my work. The image of the Undine or Ondine or any female figure who exists partly under the water. She comes on to the earth to be among people but returns then to the water. Or she stays in the water and calls humans to her. A multitude of these stories exist in many traditions.

She returns to the element that all life on this planet stirs from. There are no words there, not even symbols or signs. Sound and light travel differently. Clarity comes from attuning to that different frequency. And what she learns down there cannot be explained easily in words. She knows what she knows. All this gets easily scrambled again after a time on earth in the confusing world of humans. The Undine in this image has just decided to take the plunge again. She has made her decision. Maybe she is challenging you to join her.
